What this tool does

eDPI is calculated by multiplying mouse DPI by in-game sensitivity. It lets you compare settings within the same game even when players use different mouse DPI values; it is not directly comparable across games with different rotation scales.

How to use it

Enter your mouse DPI and the sensitivity you use in the game. The result updates instantly and shows the sensitivity you would need to keep the same eDPI at 800 or 1600 DPI. At 800 DPI and 0.4 sensitivity, eDPI is 320; if you switch to 1600 DPI, you need 0.2 to keep it.

How to read the result

EDPI is only comparable between players of the same game, because each game turns sensitivity into rotation differently. To compare across games, use the sensitivity converter or the cm/360 calculation.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good eDPI?

There is no single correct value: it depends on the game, your mousepad size and your style. What matters is finding a comfortable eDPI and keeping it so your aim stays consistent.

Does changing DPI change my real sensitivity?

Only if you do not adjust the in-game sensitivity. If you raise DPI and lower sensitivity by the same proportion, eDPI and cursor speed stay the same.
